The war was going on, but they kept working in the office

Monday, March 9. Last week was tense — shells were landing in the bay, the kids stayed home, and clients were messaging with questions. Air defense systems were doing their job, but the sense of alarm never really went away.

In the morning, things were relatively calm. We decided to leave remote work and come into the office — not out of bravery, but simply because life goes on. We needed to wish the women a happy March 8, there was a brainstorm with Dmitry, and we discussed what to do next.

The war is being fought between Iran, the US, and Israel. But for some reason, it’s landing on us. That’s geography.

In the office it was warm, work was moving, and the coffee was hot. That’s the strange state of 2026 — when the anxious hum became part of the backdrop. Not the norm, but the habit.

Holding on.
